Our mission is two-fold:

1. To provide a comprehensive current on-line resource for users to find therapies, practitioners and events.
   
   
2. To provide a resource to the holistic community that promotes unity and awareness.

I believe it is time for the holistic community to come together and promote themselves not only as individuals but as a vibrant community with much to offer to the larger regional community as a whole.

This area is so rich with practitioners and learning opportunities! My desire is to make as many people aware of the wealth of resources and knowledge as possible. 

The idea for this directory began simply enough: I was searching for a particular type of yoga and couldn't find information. I tried all the magazines and finally did the word-of-mouth routine, hoping somebody knew somebody who knew somebody.....

At the same time, a friend of mine was also looking for a particular therapy and experienced the same problem.

Many people I have spoken with since have all expressed the same thought: they are looking for a therapy or practitioner or trying to find out what events are coming up and there just isn't a resource that is comprehensive and current that pulls it all together.

So I was gifted with a vision, a community of resource that was available to all users and was easily affordable for practitioners. And so began the journey and how interesting it has been! I have met wonderful supportive people who share my vision and it is my honor to bring this community to you.
